The second generation is the first with the Lego-name present. In addition to the 2x4 brick type introduced in the first generation, the second generation includes 2x3 bricks and 1x2 bricks. The 2x2 bricks introduced in the first generation is not present in the second. The bricks in the second generation come in a wide variety of colors. All three brick types can be easily destinguished from other generations by the ribs inside going lengthwise.

When it comes to MoldMember-positioning, the bricks don't have any kind of information regarding their position within the mold, so they have been numbered based on the following order:

  • 2x4 one slot (4)
  • 2x4 two slots (4)
  • 3x2 one slot (2)
  • 3x2 two slots (2)
  • 2x1 one slot (2)
  • 2x1 two slots (2)
