06l and 06m are closely related, where 06m is a natural evolution from 06l where stud notches have been added. There are multiple examples of this being the case, where the same mold shape has been used for bricks both with and without stud notches.

Some important things to notice: 1: For some strange reason I have no more than six different MoldMembers for each brick type (2x2r / 2x4r) even though the samples are numbered 1-8. With the number of samples available, one should have expected to find bricks with the missing mold positions. Also, there is not the same mold positions missing across 06l and 06m.

2: I have a lot of blue samples of the 1x1r bricks, while for the 2x2r/2x4r bricks blue is a very rare color. It's known to exist for both variants (with/without stud notch), but I have none in my samples.

3: The 1x1 bricks where probably unmodified during the modification of the mold from 06l to 06m, making it impossible to differentiate them. For the 06m mold, six mold members are added as pure placeholders.

4: Without any good way of identifying the different mold positions for the 1x1r samples, I have low confidence in the current Mold layout. There might be more than 6 1x1r members, and the identification technique used by tracing the angle of the texture compared to the pip position might be a dead end.
